About T/E Middle School. |
T/E Middle
School serves the educational needs of approximately 980 students in
grades 5 through 8.
Core subject areas include English/Language Arts, Math,
Reading or World Language, Science, and Social Studies. In addition, a
multitude of special subject areas encourage student exploration and growth.
Music, Art, Technology Education, Applied Technology, Family and Consumer
Science, Health, and Physical Education are dynamic subjects available to all
students at T/E. The foreign language program in fifth grade continues
elementary experiences in Spanish. Instruction in French, Spanish, German,
and/or
Latin is offered in grades 6 through 8.
There has been a school on this
site since the Pennsylvania State Legislature permitted
Tredyffrin and Easttown townships to form the first joint high school system
in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
The first building was dedicated in 1908 and the rest is
history! |
