In May 2007, the Strategic Planning Committee, a committee
of 30 community members, School Board members, parents, teachers,
administrators and students, worked to develop a new mission statement,
consensus beliefs and strategies to address the needs of T/E students in
the 21st Century. The new Strategic Plan will be voted on by the School
Board in June 2008 and will then be submitted to the Pennsylvania
Department of Education by September of 2008. The new plan will replace
one that was developed in 1995 and regularly reviewed and updated.
