Four-Year Professional Staff Contract Ratified, Approved by Board of School Directors

We are pleased to announce that a new four-year contract has been ratified by the Tredyffrin-Easttown Education Association and approved by the Board of School Directors. Throughout the process of developing this contact, the goal of both the Board and the TEEA leadership has been to provide our teachers with a fair and competitive contract that preserves teachers' ability to continue the delivery of the best educational program for our students. This collaborative relationship, as expressed in the new agreement, will enable our District to fulfill the mission of our Strategic Plan: "To inspire a passion for learning, personal integrity, the pursuit of excellence, and social responsibility
in each student."  As in any negotiation, both sides achieved and both sides conceded.  Most importantly the contract meets the dual needs of the District, providing an excellent educational program led by well-qualified and motivated teachers and staying within the financial parameters established by Act 1 spending caps.
